What is Raast

In order to promote digital payments in Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan has implemented a state-of-the-art and convenient payment system Raast, which provides instant and real-time funds transfer with no transaction fee. Raast is a unified payment gateway across the country that enables customers with diversified payment options.

Raast Funds Transfer

In line with the vision of SBP, MCB Islamic Bank also offeres FREE of cost funds transfer facility through Raast to its customers via the following mediums:

Internet Banking
Mobile Banking
Branch Visit

In order to transfer funds through Raast, no registration (Raast ID) is required. However, to receive money from anywhere across Pakistan, Raast registration is required. Customers can get themselves registered with their mobile number. Only one Raast ID is allowed per customer and only one account can be linked to one Raast ID.

How to create your Raast ID	– Login MCB Islamic Internet Banking – Go to Raast Management Register your Raast ID option – Provide the necessary detail – Click proceed – Enter OTPs & Accept Terms and Conditions – Click Proceed	– Login MCB Islamic Mobile Application – Go to Raast Register your Raast ID option – Provide the necessary detail – Click proceed – Verify the details, Accept Terms and Conditions and click proceed – Enter OTPs – Click Proceed	– Visit your nearest MCB Islamic Bank Branch. – Authenticate yourself via OTP and confirm your mobile number that is to be linked to your account. – You will instantaneously get confirmation of your mobile number as your Raast ID – Only one Raast ID is allowed per customer & only one account can be linked to one Raast ID.
How to transfer funds via Raast	– Login MCB Islamic Internet Banking and click Fund Transfer / Raast. – For first time, beneficiary addition is required to transfer funds. – Beneficiary Addition Steps (Mobile Number / IBAN): – On add beneficiary tab, select ‘Transfer to Raast’ from drop down – Provide the necessary details and click on Validate button to verify provided details. – Once details are verified, click on proceed. – Enter OTPs and accept the terms and conditions and click proceed to add beneficiary – Once the beneficiary is added, go to Fund Transfer Tab. – Click on ‘Make a Transfer’ button. – Provide the necessary details and click proceed. – Accept the terms and conditions and click proceed. – Your funds will be transferred and system will display the confirmation screen.	– Login MCB Islamic Mobile Application and click Send Money. – For first time, beneficiary addition is required to transfer funds. – Beneficiary Addition Steps (Mobile Number / IBAN): – Click Raast Transfer – Provide necessary details. – Verify the details, Accept Terms and Conditions and click proceed. – Enter OTPs – As soon as OTPs are entered system will add the beneficiary – Click on beneficiary name. – Provide necessary details and click transfer. – Provide the necessary details and click proceed. – Verify the necessary details and click proceed to transfer funds. – Receipt will be displayed for successful fund transfer.	– Visit nearest MCB Islamic Bank Branch. – Specify beneficiary’s IBAN or Raast ID for transfer. – Confirm the amount that is to be transferred. – Check beneficiary details and confirm OTP. – Verify the details, Accept Terms and Conditions and click proceed – Your payment will be transferred instantaneously and you will receive confirmation SMS.
