Who can register with Subuk App?

Any MCB Islamic Bank account holder (Individual or Joint with “either or survivor” with “singly” account operating instructions), with a valid Identity document and registered mobile number and email address, can sign up for Subuk App.
Valid Identity Document may be:

  • CNIC / SNIC
  • NICOP / POC
  • Passport (Only for foreign nationals)
  • Proof of Residence (Utility bill e.g. electricity, gas, water and rent agreement)

How can I register for Subuk App Services?

You can register easily through the Subuk App:

  1. Downloading it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
  2. Follow the on-screen steps to complete registration

You’ll need your valid ID document, and mobile number & email registered with bank for OTP verification. It only takes a few minutes!

What if my mobile number and / or email address is not registered with the bank?

If your mobile number or email is not registered, you’ll need to visit your nearest MCB Islamic branch to get it updated before you can complete your registration.

I tried to register but didn’t receive an OTP. What should I do?

Make sure you’re using the mobile number registered with your bank account.
If you’ve switched your mobile network (ported your number), send an SMS with “MNP” to 9642.
Note: OTP for registration will also be sent to your registered email address.

Do I need to visit a branch to register?

No, you don’t need to visit a branch. Registration is completely digital and can be done easily from your mobile device.

Can I register for digital banking if I do not have an MCB Islamic account?

No, you need an active MCB Islamic account to register. Don’t have one? You can open it easily through the Subuk—just tap “Open an Account.”
It’s 100% digital, no branch visit needed!

How long does the registration process take?

The registration is fast and takes only a few minutes. Once registered, you can start using your account right after a short 2-hour security lock period for your account security.

Is registration free of cost?

Yes, registration and accessing your account or statements through the Subuk App or portal are completely free. However, some transactions—like IBFT (Inter Bank Funds Transfer), cheque book issuance, and stop payment requests—may carry charges as per the bank’s SOC.
