QR Code FAQs

What is a QR code in Subuk App?

A QR code (Quick Response code) is a scan-able image that allows you to make or receive payments easily through your mobile phone. It provides a secure, cashless, and cardless way to transfer money instantly.

What is the difference between Static QR and Dynamic QR?

Typically, static QR is used for general payments where the payer manually enters the amount.

Example: A shopkeeper pastes a static QR on the counter. Customers scan it and manually enter the amount to pay.

Whereas, Dynamic QR includes account details as well as amount, and expiry time.

Example: You buy something online, and at checkout, the vendor generates a receipt with a Dynamic QR (that includes the exact amount due). You just scan and pay—no need to enter anything manually.

Can I scan QR codes from any merchant?
