What credentials (created during registration) do I need to log in?

To log in, simply use:

  • Your username
  • Your password

You can also log in quickly using biometric options like fingerprint or Face ID, if you’ve enabled them.

Can I use my old MCB Islamic mobile banking credentials to log in to Subuk App?

No. Subuk App is a new digital banking platform by MCB Islamic, so you’ll need to register as a new user. Simply tap “Register Now” on the login screen and complete registration to start using Subuk App.

Do I need to visit a branch or call Phone Banking to get my channel activated for Subuk App?

No. Registration is completely digital. You can register directly through the Subuk App using your CNIC, registered mobile number, and mobile camera — no branch visit or phone call required.

What should I do if I forget my login password?

If you forget your password, just tap ‘Forgot Password’ in the app and follow the steps. After entering the required information, you’ll be prompted to create a new password. To confirm, you’ll receive a One-Time Password (OTP). Once the OTP is verified, you will be able to reset your password. However, as per State Bank of Pakistan’s directives, your account will be locked for 2 hours for security purposes.

What if I forget my Username?

If you forget your username, go to the app and select ‘Forgot Username’ and follow the instructions. You will receive your username on your registered mobile number or email.

Can I change my login password?

Yes, you can change your login password anytime through the Subuk App under ‘Settings’ → ‘Change Password’.

Can I change my Username or password?

  • Password: Yes, change it anytime from the settings options within Subuk App (web or mobile)
  • Username: No, once created, it cannot be changed

How often should I update my password?

For better security, we recommend updating your password every 1 to 3 months. Avoid reusing old passwords (especially the last 5 passwords).

What are the strong password requirements?

Your password must be:

  • 8 to 16 characters
  • Include 1 uppercase (capital letter), 1 lowercase (small letter), 1 number/digit, and 1 special character

Avoid using obvious information (easy to guess) like your name or date of birth.

I received a message about a login I didn’t make. What should I do?

Change your password immediately. Moreover, make sure to use a strong, unique password and avoid reusing old ones. Call Phone Banking at (042)-111-222-642.
