What is an Account Number?

Your account number is a unique number assigned by MCB Islamic Bank to identify your bank account. It’s mainly used for transactions within the bank.

What is an IBAN?

IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a standardized format for identifying bank accounts. It includes your country code, bank code, and account number.

You need your IBAN when receiving or sending money — especially to other banks in Pakistan or abroad.

Why do I need to share my Account Number or IBAN?

You share these details when you want someone to send money to you:

  • Account Number: for transfers within MCB Islamic Bank
  • IBAN: for Raast, IBFT, or international transfers

With whom can I share my Account Number or IBAN?

Only share your account number or IBAN with trusted people or organizations:

  • Family, friends, or employers who need to send you money
  • Companies or institutions making salary, refund, or payment transfers

Never share your account details publicly (e.g., on social media) to avoid fraud or misuse.

How can I view my account number and IBAN in Subuk App?

  1. Log in to Subuk App
  2. On the dashboard, tap on the Subuk App card – your account details will be shown

How can I share my account number or IBAN?

Tap on your Subuk App card on the dashboard or click on the down arrow icon. Tap on the ‘copy icon’ to copy or directly share your account number/IBAN via WhatsApp, email, or SMS.
