National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP) & Financial Inclusion
At MCB Islamic Bank, we are committed to building a financially informed and inclusive society by supporting the State Bank of Pakistan’s National Financial Literacy Program (NFLP) and Banking on Equality (BOE) initiative. Through financial literacy sessions conducted across urban and rural communities, we help individuals develop essential financial skills, including budgeting, saving, responsible borrowing, digital banking and informed financial decision-making. These initiatives aim to improve financial awareness and encourage greater access to formal financial services for both banked and unbanked individuals.
As part of the State Bank of Pakistan’s Banking on Equality (BOE) initiative, we are committed to creating a more inclusive banking experience that empowers women through:
- Niswaan Account: A dedicated Shariah-compliant banking solution designed to meet the financial needs of women.
- Accessible digital banking services that make banking more convenient and inclusive.
- Dedicated support through trained Women Champions to guide customers on their financial journey.
- Financial literacy and awareness initiatives to strengthen financial knowledge and confidence.
- An inclusive workplace that promotes equal opportunities and supports women in leadership.
Through these initiatives, MCB Islamic Bank continues to support the State Bank of Pakistan’s vision of a financially literate, inclusive and economically empowered Pakistan.
